AKULite acoustic mineral slab

AkuLite mineral slabs are one of the most effective sound-absorbing materials used in the construction of premises with high requirements for acoustic parameters. Application Area

AkuLite slabs are used to fill the space between the surfaces of the supporting wall and ceiling structures and the finishing coating of sound-proofing and sound-absorbing frame structures.

Distinctive Features

• Sound absorbing properties:
• When laid in a single layer, the class of sound absorption is В; αw = 0.80 ;
• When laid in a double layer, the class of sound absorption is А, αw = 0.95;
• Fire resistance of the material.

In the structure of sound-absorbing linings and multilayer frame partitions, the vertical profile (or beams) of the frame is mounted, as a rule, with a pitch of 600 mm. AkuLite slabs are laid in lathwork cells. In the designs of soundproofing and acoustic suspended ceilings, AkuLite slabs are either laid on top of the frame or mounted to the floor slabs using plastic “mushrooms” for fixing heat-insulating slabs.
