Vibroflex-KS, Wall Fasteners

Vibroflex-KS are reliable anti-vibration wall fasteners designed for use in lightweight lining frame-type structures made of plasterboard or gypsum fiber board. To reduce vibrations and, accordingly, to increase the overall sound insulation of the structure, an anti-vibration element made from a specialized material – Sylodyn® is used in the fasteners.

Description

Vibroflex-KS is one of the necessary means for reducing airborne noise when installing a frame-type wall soundproofing system. The product is a perforated bracket connected to the base through a layer of Sylodyn® material with unique vibration damping properties. The load capacity of the product is 25 kg, which allows the structure to bear the weight of two sheets of lining, while respecting the standard distances between the fasteners.

Application Area

Wall-mounted Vibroflex-KS is intended for fastening metal profiles when installing frame-type structures of additional sound insulation. The design features and the materials used in this product allow to reduce noise down to 20 dB. Its working range covers mostly low and mid frequencies.

Technical specifications
The graph shows the measurement results of the sound insulation of a brick wall with a thickness of 120 mm, with a soundproofing lining structure including two layers of plaster fiber boards.

The measurements have been carried out for two options for fixing the lining to the wall:
1. Using standard metal hangers (hard fastening)
2. Using vibration isolating fasteners VIBROFLEX-К

Installation

VIBROFLEX-KS fasteners are mounted directly to the wall through two holes using metal anchor nails with a diameter of 6 mm or with plastic dowels with a diameter of 6 mm with metal screws.
