Shumanet-100Combi (formerly Akuflex Combi) is one of the unique products of Acoustic Group, which provides waterproofing and impact noise reduction when installing ‘floating’ floors. The material includes a layer of fiberglass impregnated with bitumen to which artificial felt made of polymer synthetic fiber with high sound insulation properties is applied.

Purpose

Schumanet-100Combi is used in construction of floating floors to reduce the level of impact noise and provide waterproofing properties. The material complies with sanitary and building standards. It can be used in buildings of any type.

Production Technology

The synthetic fiber base is treated with a mixture of bitumen-polymer binder on both sides with a layer of sound insulation made of polyester fibers bonded to one of them. To prevent the layers in the roll from sticking, a polymer film is applied to the bitumen surface. The price of Schumanet-100Combi is slightly higher than that of Akuflex, so it is advisable to use it in rooms where, in addition to sound insulation, protection against water leakage into the room below is required.

Features

    • Thermally bonded polyester fiber with a polymer-bitumen membrane
    • Double-purpose material - sound- and waterproofing
    • Impact noise reduction index 26 dB.

Storage

The storage area should be protected from precipitation and direct sunlight. Rolls should be stored in a vertical position. If the roll has been exposed to freezing temperatures, it should be held at the room temperature for 24 hours before installation.

Schumanet-100Combi can be purchased by contacting Acoustic Group directly or the company’s authorized partners.

Packaging

  • Roll width: 1 m
  • The useful width of the elastic underlay excluding the bitumen base overlap is 0.93 m
  • Roll length: 10 m
  • Thickness: 5 mm
  • Roll weight: 25 kg

Physical and Technical Properties

  • Dynamic stiffness index at 2 kPa load - not more than 65 mN/m3
