AKU-Line
AKU-Line acoustic gypsum boards are used in construction of framed partitions, wall sheeting and suspended ceilings. AKU-Line boards are also used for finish sheeting for ZIPS acoustic panels. Special production technology combined with the increased density guarantee high acoustic performance. The material is recommended by the Research Institute of Building Physics (Moscow) as a system component in standard Gyproc soundproofing structures for use in residential and public premises. In accordance with SP 163.1325800.2014 (clause 6.1.1 and Appendix D.1), gypsum boards are used to build structures with high sound insulation requirements. One of the key requirements for soundproofing structures is the noise level reduction efficiency. Their lining materials should also have strength sufficient for installation and high surface quality. AKU-Line has all these properties allowing to use it in the construction of wall and ceiling soundproofing structures. AKU-Line boards are used as a finish for frameless structures based on ZIPS acoustic panels.
The AKU-Line gypsum board production technology has allowed to create a material that meets all building code requirements. It can be used in rooms of various purposes.
Composition
The main component of AKU-Line gypsum board is gypsum bound with mineral fibers. The front and back surfaces are covered with layers of thick paper.
Features
- Good sound insulation properties
- High strength and specific gravity
- High-quality raw materials which significantly accelerate the finishing process and improve quality
- Availability of ready-made solutions for use in various rooms.
Transportation and Storage
Before starting the work, AKU-Line Gyproc gypsum boards should be kept at the installation temperature for 1-2 days. Safety regulations should be observed during construction work.
The boards should be stored on pallets in a room with dry and normal humidity conditions. They should be stored in stacks on pallets or pads. The height of a pallet stack when stored at the customer’s site should not exceed 5.0 m.
AKU-Line can be purchased in your nearest Acoustic Group office.
